The proposed study will provide information relevant to Objective 2 in the Johnson?s Seagrass Recovery Plan-Self-sustaining populations present throughout the range at distances less than or equal to the maximum dispersal distance to allow for stable vegetative recruitment and genetic diversity. The study will examine accumulation and tissue localization of the falvonoids in H. johnsonii to provide a clearer understanding of the physiological and ecological functions of these compounds in species. Minimum Requirements: 1) The contract must have at least 3 -years of experience working on Johnson?s seagrass photophysiology, 2)The contractor must be a seagrass physiological ecologist with 4 years of experience working with Johnson?s seagrass.
