Description

The Northern Region Contracting Center, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Eustis, VA, intends to award a bridge contract for a continuation of various public works services currently being performed under contract DABT60-01-C-0010. The anticipated br idge contract adds an additional two months and two option months to the existing contract performance period. The performance period shall be 1 August 2007 through 30 September with an option for the period 1 October 2007 through 30 November 2007. This action does not provide for full and open competition. Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is FAR 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The inte nded source is VT Griffin Services, Inc. VT Griffin is the only known source that can provide uninterrupted services. Any interruption or discontinuation of these services would cause severe mission failure. Firms that feel they can provide this service are encouraged to identify themselves and provide a statement of their capabilities. No solicitation will be issued. The Government will consider all inquiries received by the due date. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. Numbered Note 22 applies.
