- Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR), in Folsom, CA requiers the removal and or trimming of Priority 1 & 2 trees under high voltage power lines as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Task Specifications. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price performance-based contract. This requirement is solicited as 100% full and open competition. Contractors must be licensed by the State of California and also must have a safety plan approved by SNR's Safety Office before award can be made. There is a requirement to attend a mandatory pre-proposal meeting held August 15, 2007. If offerors are not currently registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), the Representations and Certifications must be completed and returned with the proposal. The Service Contract Act, FAR 52.222-41 applies to this requirement. Employers must comply with the current Department of Labor Wage Determination 1977-0727 Rev 33, dated 05/20/2007.
