Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Cellular Technology Limited, Cleveland, OH for a CTL S5-Micro ELISPOT reader is designed to perform the following essential functions: 1.) Capture high-resolution digital images of ELISOTs (enzyme-linked immunosorbent spot). ELISPOTs are generated by culture and subsequent biochemical detection of a variety of immunologically important cell types directly in their culture plate. This equipment has the capability of reading plates in the 24, 48, and 96-well formats. 2.) In addition to collecting image data, this equipment comes with an integral computer system / software that counts the number of ELISPOTs in a given plate. 3.) This equipment also has a backlighting system which enables the imaging and counting of viral plaque assays. This will assist in determining the titer of samples containing samples. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. However, information received will be considered solely for information purposes only.
