In addition, NTI may periodically request proposers to edit/update the existing course materials. The proposed course will provide an overview of the essential elements of quality assurance and quality control in transit projects and address the inter-relationships and balances among the quality, costs, and schedules. This course is intended to review and expand upon the Federal Transit Administration?s (FTA) February 2002 Quality Assurance and Quality Control Guidelines. It will also address the various perspectives for quality from an owner, consultant, contractor, vendor, and user points of view. To obtain a copy of the complete Request for Proposal, send a written request on organization letterhead to the University Procurement & Contracting address above. Fax or e-mail requests will be accepted; telephone requests are unacceptable. Requests will be honored if received by Tuesday, September 11, 2007. .
