- Statement of Work: Phacoemulsification System will be used for cataract/lens removal with continuous monitoring of intraocular conditions. Specifications: Phacoemulsification System, complete Capable of: Phacoemulsification Wet-field Bi-polar diathermy Automated Irrigation and Aspiration Reusable Oscillating Vitrectomy To include the following components: Console (which has portable capability and ability to fit into carrying case with footpedal and remote) Footpedal Remote Control (to operate from sterile field) Cart with storage area and articulating Mayo stand Programmable I/V pole 4 each, Ultrasonic handpieces 2 each , SOLO unibody I&A handpiece sets (with no O-rings) 2 each, Bipolar diathermy cords with Fischer connector 2 each , bi-polar diathermy forceps 1each, Reusable TAC Oscillating Vitrectomy Cutter 2 year warranty for parts and labor on console 2 year warranty on ultrasonic handpieces purchased with system Troubleshooting Quick Reference Guide 2 each, Operator's Manual Service Manual On-site service On-site installation and inservice training of operating room staff Local Representative certified by the manufacturer to be trained to minimum standards of competency on the equipment, troubleshooting, and surgical application of equipment SPECIAL NOTE: Specifications and statement of work are included in soliciation RFQ for descriptive purposes only - this solicitation is not intended to be a sole source purchase.
