- Description
- James H. Quillen V.A. Medical Center, Mountain Home (Johnson City), Tennessee, 37684, has a requirement for Replacement of the Fire Alarm Base Loop . Contractor to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to replace the existing analog fire alarm panels and devices to addressable type, and terminating the Fiber Optic Network that will be roughed in by the VA to make all buildings addressable station-wide. The new Fire Alarm System to meet NFPA 72 Code for system performance and integrity. Installation of network and equipment to be 100% compatible with Simplex equipment and protocol. The new work shall meet all applicable VA criteria, codes, life safety codes and Uniform Building Codes. NOTE: There are three (3) Deduct Alternates to be bid as well. NAICS Code is 236220, with small business size standard of $31.5 million. Anticipated completion is 120 calendar days from Notice To Proceed. Work estimated between $50,000 and $250,000. Solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).
