- Pre-Solicitation: The following project outline proposes an approximately 6-month training and diagnostic process for advancing the readiness of the workforce and facilities in the Veterans Integrated Services Network VISN 2 to respond to a potential pandemic of highly pathogenic influenza. The effort will advance preparedness beyond general emergency preparedness and infection control practices in partnership with the leadership, general workforce, and community partners of the VISN 2 facilities. To rapidly and effectively carry out the development and delivery of the project across the VISN 2 Network which consist of the following Medical Centers: Western New York Healthcare System- Buffalo NY, Batavia NY Canandaigua VA Medical Center- Canandaigua NY Bath VA Medical Center- Bath NY Syracuse VA Medical Center- Syracuse NY Albany VA Medical Center- Albany NY The contracted party will serve as the lead for all activities.
