- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F3B7CR7198AA01 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect for Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. This acquisition is unrestricted. //Schedule of items: This requirement is for command boxes for the Fire Department. Any equal offered must be clearly identified by brand name, make and model number. Offerors of any equal must also include descriptive literature and any proposed modifications required to make an_or equal_item conform to specifications. NOTE TO VENDORS: This requirement is for command boxes only and does not include installation. Funds are not currently available for this requirement; however, funds are anticipated no later than 30 September 2007. Please ensure that quotes are valid through 30 September 2007. 1. Custom command system for full size sport utility vehicles 29 inches high and 58 inches deep with a mid mounted command board, file and parts drawer, storage and a recessed radio panel area. Interior storage compartments are proportionate to the folding rear seats easily accessible from the rear side doors. Manufacturer: Odyssey Automotive or equal, Part Number: C60-RP1M COMMAND-60-RP1M for Suburban or equal; Quantity: 2 Each 2. Custom command system for full size sport utility vehicles 29 inches high and 39 inches deep with a mid mounted command board, file and parts drawer, storage and a recessed radio panel area; interior storage compartments are proportionate to the folding rear seats easily accessible from the rear side doors; Manufacturer: Odyssey Automotive or equal; Part Number: C40-RP2M COMMAND-40-RP2M for Blazer or equal; Quantity: 1 Each 3. Custom command system for full size sport utility vehicles 28 inches high and 32 inches deep with a low mounted command board, file and parts drawer, storage and a recessed radio panel area; interior storage compartments are proportionate to the folding rear seats easily accessible from the rear side doors; Manufacturer: Odyssey Automotive or equal, Part Number: C40-RP1L COMMAND-40-RP1L for Explorer or equal; Quantity: 1 Each 4. Cabinet mounting platform for the 2003 and newer Explorer custom mounting platform which allows cabinetry to be installed in the new Ford Explorer with factory folding third row seating; the IK-EXPL-3 or equal is a carpeted platform with cabinet mounting holes and hardware that allows one to remove the rear folding seats and install Odyssey or equal cabinetry.
