- Proposed release date for request for proposal is hereby changed from 20 July 2007 to on or about 20 August 2007. Tentative site visit is herby changed from 7 August 2007 to 20 August 2007. Duration of the site visit will be 3 days. Interested par ties are to meet at the Movie Theater, Bldg H402, Soto Cano Airbase, Honduras in front of the ID Checkpoint at 08:30 a.m. One type of photo identification is required to gain entrance to the base at the Soto Cano ID Checkpoint. There is a limit of two per sons per firm to attend the site visit. Those interested in attending the site visit must email a request and fill out the Official Pass Request form to Velia Pier at velia.pier@us.army.mil, no later than 10 August 2007, 4:00 P.M. (C.S.T). The Official P ass Request form will be emailed to you. The request should include the company name, address, phone number, fax number, email address, business status (large business or small business), company role (prime contractor or subcontractor), and the names of the proposed attendees. You may briefly identify topics you desire to be addressed at the site visit. Note that there is no guarantee that all topics will be addressed. Lodging accommodations are not available on Soto Cano Airbase. Those interested in attending are to make the ir own lodging reservations. Hotel Santa Maria de Comayagua is within a 15 minute drive from Soto Cano Airbase. Hotels within 1 hour drive from Soto Cano Airbase are: Intercontinental Hotel, Marriott Hotel, and the Clarion Hotel. No photographs will be allowed on Soto Cano Airbase. This restriction applies to the entire base to include any areas pertaining to the Base Operations Service Support such as the Dining Facility, Gas Station, Vehicle Wash Rack, MWR Facilities, and Soldie r Support Facilities. CAUTION: The remarks and explanations made by the Government Representatives during the course of the site visit, whether orally or in writing, shall not change or qualify any terms or conditions of the solicitation. In addition, answers given on the sit e visit will not bind the Government to those answers; the questions asked and official answers will be included as an amendment to the solicitation. Once the solicitation is released, it can only be changed by a formal written amendment issued by Army Co ntracting Agency-The Americas, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
