Description
The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Firms. The work consists of Removals and Debris Cleaning, Clearing, Grubbing and Stripping; Groundwater, Stormwater and Surface Water Co ntrol; Embankment, Excavation and Establishment of Turf. Location of the work to be performed shall be North Berm and Cutoff Trench Bois Brule and Lock & Drainage District, Lower Mississippi River Basin and Perry County, Missouri. This is an Indefinite D elivery-Indefinite Quantity contract with a performance period of One Year. There will be no public bid opening. The basis for award will be Best Value process. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsibl e offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the best value to the government. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The NAICS code for this work is 238910 . This acquisition is bei ng considered as a 100 percent set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Interested firms should provide to the contracting office as early as possible, but not later than 10 days after this notice, evidence of their capabilit y to perform the contract, and a positive statement of their eligibility as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Firm. If two or more responses are not received from Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business firm, the solicitation will inst ead be issued, without further notice, as Unrestricted IAW FAR 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Notice of Unrestricted will be provided in the posted RFP. Postal service or fax copies are required. Electronic copies are not pe rmitted. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about August 20, 2007. For changes to the issue date or any other changes to the information in th is synopsis, potential offerors are responsible to check the information at www.fedbizopps.gov./. The solicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov./. The Government will not provide paper copies of the so licitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests, for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential offerors can register at www.fedbizopps.gov./ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. The Interested Vendors List (IVL) will be activated and may be accessed and printed from the FedBizOpps web site. Prospective offerors who would like their company name included on the IVL list may do so on the Fedbizopps website under IVL. Potential offerors are resp onsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. All interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registrati on (CCR) Database and have completed On-Line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in order to receive a contract award.
