- Description
- Title: GUADRDRAIL Test Equipment CECOM/ GUARDRAIL weapon system teams plans to enter into an agreement for support of unique Test Equipment that is used with GUARDRAIL weapon systems, but not supported by US Army Test Measurement Diagnostics Equipment Activity-USATA or items that cannot b e organically repair by government depots. This vehicle will be for repair and calibration of various unique test equipment, technical support and field service support. The contractor will also be responsible to maintain the relevance of the equipment to combat vanishing vendor issues. The contractor will be asked to maintain an inventory of spares to meet a turn around time of 48 hours for any failures of the equipment. The USG does not have drawings for the equipment. This equipment was purchased as COTS equipment and contains proprietary data that is only the property of the Original Equipment Manufacturer. A list of the equipment is available on request. The USG pre fers that the contractor show an ability to repair rather directly rather than a pass through to sub-vendors. However, if an appropriate and reasonable pass through plan can be provided, it will be considered. All interested parties considering submission in support of this request for technical support should submit a white paper no greater than 10 pages in length and should include at a minimum the following information: 1) Provide evidence of the contractors facilities and experience with type of repair and calibration support. 2) Provide evidence of past performance on similar projects in support of the requested work. 3) Respondents should offer white papers on a total support approach. Partial support for selected items from the list will not be accepted. This response must address support of all equipment. 4) The contractor must show knowledge of the GUARDRAIL weapon system and past history with repair and support of the equipment for that system. This documentation may be mailed to US Army, Commander CECOM, AMSEL-LC-IEWS-R-GR, Building 1201W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5211 to the attention of Christopher Alcott. Documentation may also be sent to electronic address Christopher.alcott@us.army.mil.
