- Description
- This procurement is for the solicitation of a firm fixed-price contract for infrastructure improvement to Aberdeen Proving Ground roadways and intersections. Work will include lane widening, new signalization, pavement overlay, and new road construc tion. Other features of the work include signage, fencing, site lighting, traffic control devices, storm drainage, and demolition. Existing underground and overhead power and communication systems will be relocated. The solicitation may include options for relocation of overhead to direct buried 34kV feeder and communication lines and Route 22 Gate Improvements to include paving, ATFP measures, guard booths, overlook building, canopy and utility work. Estimated cost range for this procurement is $10M to $25M. This procurement is unrestricted and shall be a competitive Invitation for Bids. The NAICS Code for this project is 237310 and the small business size standard is $31 million. Issue date is on or about August 17, 2007 with bids due on or about Sep tember 18, 2007. Requests for the solicitation documents must be made via the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) homepage located at https://www.fedteds.gov/. All prospective contractors and their subcontractors and suppliers must request explicit access to the solicitation documents by submitting an access request form. Vendors must also be registered in FedTeDS before they will be permitted to download the solicitation documents/information. The form must be returned to denise.m.detitta@nap02.usace.army.mil and michelle.j.bertoline@nap02.usace.army.mil. FedTeDS registration requires the following information: CCR Marketing Partner Identification Num ber (MPIN), DUNS Number or CAGE Code, Telephone Number, E-mail address. You are urged to read the FAQs posted on the FedTeDS website to better understand this process. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided and no written or faxed requests for the documents will be accepted. Interested contractors must register on FedTeDS. If any registration information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to m ake changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving notification of the solicitation and amendments. Bidders are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation. All amendments to this solicitation will be posted to FedTeDS at the a bove address. Hard copies of the amendment will not be furnished. It is the bidders responsibility to monitor the web page for any amendments to this solicitation. The contractor must be registered in the DODs Central Contractor Registration database a s required by DFARS 204.7300 and comply with VETS-100 annual reporting as required by FAR 22.1310(b) prior to award. Instructions will be included in the solicitation package. Liquidated Damages will be specified. Davis Bacon rates will be applicable and insurance and bonding is required.
