Description

NAICS: 235510 SIC: 1751 PSC: 5670 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested. This acquisition is conducted full and open, the associated NAICS code is 235510. The government will award a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, with the lowest price. THE WORK OF THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF REMOVING AND DISPOSING OF SEVEN (7) SETS OF EXISTING DOORS, AND PROVIDING AND INSTALLING SEVEN (7) SETS OF NEW DOORS. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE ALL MATERIALS, SUPPLIES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE WORK. This work is at the Zion National Park Visitor Center, approximately 43 miles East of St. George, UT. DOOR SPECIFICATIONS ARE: KAWNEER 350 MEDIUM STILE DOORS (OR EQUAL) 6'x7', 2" THERMALLY BROKEN, OFFSET PIVOTS, VON DUPRIN 99 RIM PANICS, REMOVABLES MULLION & OFFSET PULLS. THE ESTIMATE IS BETWEEN $25,000 AND $100,000. In order to download the Synopis/Solicitation interested vendors must register at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Responses from offerors will be accepted at the address listed until COB AUGUST 22, 2007. Questions for solicitation should be in writing and faxed to (435) 772-3337.
