Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is open to both small and large businesses. The government will award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract resulting from this solicitation, to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the lowest price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The government may elect to award without discussions. The contract for 3/4" limestone base course will be awarded on or about August 16, 2007. REQUIREMENTS: Badlands National Park, Interior, South Dakota, has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of 1,650 tons of 3/4" limestone base course gravel. Delivery is to be made to the Maintenace Yard at Badlands National Park. The contractor shall schedule deliveries with Jay Vogelgesang at 605-685-8118. The purchase is a lump sum Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The magnitude for the purchase is less than $25,000.00. Product Service Code 5610, NAICS Code 423320. The Small Business Standard is: 100 employees. Paper copies of combined Synopsis/Solicitation will not be issued. The Synopsis/Solicitation can be downloaded at the DOI website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) on August 2, 2007 and unless amendments are issued extending the solicitation the offers are due by 3:00 pm MST August 16, 2007. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), (http://www.ccr.gov) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) (https://orca.bpn.gov).
