Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under RFQ N4002507RC02167. A subsequent document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk intends to purchase the following items: LIGHT WEIGHT MODULAR BERTHS AND COMPONENT SUB-ASSEMBLIES STATEMENT OF WORK: **PLEASE EMAIL POC FOR SPECIFIC LINE ITEM BREAKDOWN.** LWMB, BB and SA NOTES (REV: 1/25/07) LIGHT WEIGHT MODULAR BERTHS AND COMPONENT SUB-ASSEMBLIES 01 GENERAL, ALL ITEMS A. Light Weight Modular Berth Units and components shall be made in accordance with the Light Weight Modular Berth Procurement Specification Dated 1-25-2007 which is posted at www.Habitability.net, under Habitability Drawings Library, Manufacturer?s Detail Drawings, and the following: B. In lieu of the contacts cited in the Procurement Specification, the technical point of contact for all submittals and approvals is MARMC Code 213, Baldev Gill, (757) 443 3872 ext. 1856, e-mail Baldev.Gill@navy.mil. Any deviations must be submitted for approval specific to the applicable solicitation or contract. C. All submittal dates and milestones must be advanced from those cited in the LWMB Procurement Specification as needed to suit specific solicitation or contract required delivery dates. D. The Light Weight Modular Berth Procurement Specification is four sections; the notes section C, the notes section D, the CDRLs, and detail descriptions for the component sub-assemblies. E. Shock Qualification and submittals for Shock Qualification only apply to solicitations or contracts which include berth units with the extension letter W in the Berth ID or Find Number, and/or subassemblies or berths which are otherwise called out as requiring shock.
