- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Division intends to solicit on a sole source basis to Bardo Consulting, to provide strategic analysis services in support of the U.S. Navy Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information, Plans and Strategy (OPNAV N3/N5). The contractor will assist OPNAV?s maritime strategy development process by conducting futures analysis of the global security environment. The contractor will also conduct strategic analysis on specific pol-mil and national security issues, as well as ad hoc emergent situations, as directed by OPNAV N3/N5 and/or Director, N3/N5 Navy Special Projects to support military strategy formulation efforts. The period of performance will be for six months from date of award. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by 16 August 2007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information shall be received at FISC Norfolk, Philadelphia Division, 700 Robbins Ave., Bldg. 2B, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
