- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N00189-07-Q-PS16 is issued as a Request for Quote. Provide 1 each Panelized Equipment Storage Building for housing new load boxes outside Building 240 at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME 03904. Nominal Clear Inside Dimension of building is 30 ft. wide X 21 ft. long. Nominal eave height is 16 ft. high. Structural design load for roof load is 50 PSF, for wind load is 100 mph. Importance factor (Roof, wind) is 1.0. Seismic category is C. Building is to have a 4:12 roof pitch with system 2 gable. Exterior sheeting is to be 26 gauge. Exterior finish is to be painted. Interior finish panel frames to be prime painted red. Pre-installed personnel doors, 3 ft. X 7 ft. , to be painted grey, w/mfgr std closer and light commercial lockset. Building is to have a 24 ft. wide X 14 ft. high equipment door, opening only, and a 15 ft. wide X 14 ft. high equipment door, opening only. Ventilation is to be 6 ea - 24 inch fixed fins with ? inch screen (3 ea gable end). Provide 21 ft. X 30 ft. floor system in accordance w ith drawing (which is available upon request via email). Provide field assembly service and installation. Delivery to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME 03904. FOB Destination. Required delivery 8 weeks after date of award. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. The NAICS code is 332311 and the small business size standard is 500. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, apply to this acquisition. Offerors are requested to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, with proposals. The following clauses/provisions also apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (including 52.203-6, 52.219-4, 52.219-8, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-39, 52.225-3, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33). Quotes are due no later than August 10, 2007 at 3:30 PM Local time. Award shall be made to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible offeror.
