- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CANCEL THIS PROCUREMENT IN IT'S ENTIRETY. The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG), Virginia Beach, Virginia intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Superior Shooting Systems, Inc for the procurement of rifle scopes for the purpose of research and development at NSWDG. Sole Source Justification: Superior Shooting Systems, Inc. is the sole designer and engineer of the DTAC scope reticle that is caliber specific, and incorporates multiple graphs inside the reticle to facilitate ranging and ballistic computations for varying atmospheric and shooting conditions.
