- This solicitation invites proposals for the construction of a new Main Postal facility containing approximately 10,000 sq ft of floor space located at 6420 121st Avenue East, Parrish, FL. The work includes, but is not limited to, steel frame construction, concrete, masonry carpentry, modified bitumen roofing, insulation, hollow metal doors, metal studs, gyp board, ceramic tile, resilient flooring, vinyl composition tile flooring, carpet, painting, store fixtures, electrical, mechanical, utilities, landscaping and other work associated with postal facilities. Bonds must be received within 10 days from receipt of Intent to Award. Contractors will be evaluated based on references showing similar construction experience. Contractors must have an EMR (Experience Modification Ratio) of less than 1.0 to be considered. Notice to Proceed with construction will be issued no later than October 1, 2007. Cost range: $2,405,500 - $2,971,500 Const. time: 300 calendar days. Your company must have been in business, under the firm?s present name, for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years. No Proposal Guarantee (Bid Bond) is required but a letter from your bonding company and bank ARE required (see Offerors Submittal Information). A 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond will be required of the successful offeror.
