- Description
- Furnish all necessary tools, materials, equipment, and supervision for VA-244-07-IB-0098, Project 529-05-103, HVAC Systems Phase 8, at the VA Medical Center, Butler, PA 16001 in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Work includes but is not limited to: the demolition and removal of piping, ductwork, fan coils, convectors, air handling units, electrical, bulkhead enclosures and asbestos abatement. New work includes fan coil units, radiant panels, exhaust fans, air handling units, electrical, associated piping and ductwork, cooling tower winterization, split-system cooling systems for a waiting area and an office and other appurtenances. All new work to include automated control systems as required. Provide construction of new mechanical chases/shafts or modifications of existing mechanical chases/shafts on multiple floors of Building One (1). Air handling units are located on Floor 5 (Penthouse), on grade outside the rear of the Canteen kitchen (section BCE) and on grade outside the main kitchen (section AC/AS). Fan coil units and radiant panels are located on the Basement floor of Building One. Exhaust fans are located on Floor 5 (Penthouse) and on grade outside the rear of the Canteen kitchen (section BCE). Included with all work is removal and reinstallation of new mechanical systems. All parties must obtain amendments to the solicitation through the web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office in sufficient time for response prior to bid opening. Issue Date is on/about August 20, 2007.
