Description

The VA Puget Sound Health Care Systems, Seattle, Washington, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, intends to make a sole source award to Girton Manufacturing Company, Inc, PO Box 900, Millville, PA 17846-0900. This requirement is for the acquisition of custom parts and services for the Girton Model CT1524 Tunnel Washer that was purchased under a Federal Supply Schedule contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, as no solicitation document is available. The Government believes that this is the only firm that can provide custom parts and services for the Griton Model CT1524 Tunnel Washer. Any firm believing that they can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar-days from the date of this published synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, Attn: Rod Sanches, VA Puget Sound Health Care Systems, 1660 South Columbian Way Seattle Washington 98108. Electronic inquiries may be sent to rod.sanches@med.va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole-source negotiated award to Girton Manufacturing Company.
