Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans' Affairs, James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital (JAHVH) located in Tampa, FL, is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES (especially SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSSINESSES and VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSSINESSES) capable and interested in providing all supplies, parts, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management and transportation to furnish emergency and routine printer repair/maintenance service for defined Hewlett-Packard network printers and Lexmark printers at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL 33612. Numerous models of laser printers are involved - some of these include, but are not limited to, Mfgr/Mdl (qty): Hewlett Packard 5P(98), 5L(4), 4M(19), 5MP(14), 6M(15), 2300C(79), 3005(41), C510(45), 8150N(17), 9000N(2), 9500HDN(2), 8500(2), 4250N(162), , 2550(15), 5500N(1). Lexmark T6l0(143), T612(3), T614(20), T616(1), T620(25), T630(77), T632(289), T644(123), W820(2), 1855N(9), 1255N(89) and Dell W5300(30). Also, OTC 560DL Euroline Printers(14), Zebra Label Printers(51), and (Intermec 3400 and 3400E Thermal Label printers(294). Independently, and not as an agent of the Government (the Customer), the Contractor shall provide Manufacturer Certified Technicians to perform the work that can respond on-site within one (1) hour for emergency repairs. The anticipated performance period is October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008 with 4 optional years. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code is 811212 and the size standard is $23.0 million dollars. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exist in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for small business concerns. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is August 20, 2007. Please provide interest in this solicitation by responding to this announcement no later than 3:30 p.m. August 10, 2007.
