- The U.S. Army, Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command Acquisition Center (JM&L LCMC Acq Ctr), in support of the U.S. Army Research Development Engineering Command ??? Armament Research Development and Engineering Center (RDECOM-ARDEC) is conducting a Sources Sought to identify potential sources and vendors capable of supplying ballistic glasses panels to support the in-house manufacture of prototype hardware for testing. ARDEC requires various materials ranging in size and shape to be delivered as required. Vendors must have the capability to supplying US-made materials to ARDEC at Picatinny Arsenal in NJ to support the U.S. Government???s mission. The overarching intent of this program and procurement action is to find and use a variety of sources or vendors that can reach across North America at any given moment and gather and provide multiple types of materials. The required ballistic glass that is of interest to the US Government is one of many similar ballistic glasses. This requirement is not finite, as new like materials may be required in the future, and it is by no means an all encompassing requirement. It should be noted that as new ballistic resistant-type glass enters the global scene, it could be required to procure them. Material: ??? Dimensions - one and one-half inches by eight inches by twelve inches of ballistic ??? glass ??? The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey.
