Description

Description (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. (ii) Solicitation 601817Q673 is for one each (1) Portable Equipment Wash and Reclaim System, Weed Control. This requirement for purchase is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18, effective 05 July 2007. (iv) This procurement is being issued as 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333319 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. (v) The Contractor shall provide the following items: LINE ITEM 0001 - PORTABLE WASH AND RECLAIM SYSTEM, WEED CONTROL MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS INCLUDE : 1. COMPONENTS MOUNTED ON A TWIN AXLE TRAILER (THAT CAN BE TOWED BY A 3/4 TON PICKUP). PUMPS, GENERATOR, TANKS AND FILTER HOUSINGS SHOULD BE MOUNTED ON THE TRAILER; TRAILER SHOULD ALSO CARRY THE MAT, HOSES, AND MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT . 2. 340-450 GALLON WATER SUPPLY TANK 3. 80-85 GALLON RECLAIM ACCUMULATION TANK 4. 135 GALLON SLUDGE HOLDING TANK 5. 200-235 GALLON PROCESS/SETTLING TANK 6. 31HP DIESEL POWERED ( Honda / Kubota or equal) 1800-2000 PSI PLUNGER PUMP WITH FLOW VOLUMES OF 18-20 GPM; INCLUDE AN OVERFLOW BYPASS VALVE TO PROTECT THE PUMP 7. UNDERBODY WASH SYSTEM WITH 6-7 HIGH-PRESSURE, HIGH VOLUME FAN NOZZLES ATTACHED TO UNDERBODY SYSTEM WITH CAPACTITY TO ADD A SECOND UNDERCARRIAGE WASH 11. 3400-4000 WATT GENERATOR SYSTEM 12. MOUNTED, MANUALLY-OPERATED REEL ON THE DECK ON THE BACK OF THE TRAILER TO HELP SET UP, TRANSPORT, AND STORE THE MAT; INCLUDE LOCKING SYSTEM TO PREVENT THE REEL FROM UNWINDING DURING TRANSPORT 13.
