Description: The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make an award on a sole-source basis to the Illinois State Water Survel, in Champaign, IL to provide in depth characterization and analyses of state and local aquifers. The ISWS is the only vendor available with the historical data on the aquifers targeted for this study; such data is essential to the mission of this particular project. There is no written solicitation for this requirement. This award will be made on, or about August 8, 2007. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541710.
