- Description This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION/NOTICE OF INTENT to procure as prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice of intent and a written notice WILL NOT be issued. The Department of Navy, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, National Naval Medical Center, Acquisition Management Branch, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Thermo Environmental Instruments, Inc. for MIRAN Sapphire XL Ambient Air Analyzer with gas filter, particulate filter, shoulder carrying stap, 2 batteries interface cable, RS232 serial interface cable, printer cable, audible alarm, instructin book, IR standard detector. CONFIGURATION: 120 factory calibrated gas applications. Most gases calibrated at mulitple wavelengths. One standard mulitgas. Memory space available for 10 single gas user library entries and 9 multigas user library entries; Dual Battery Charger; Aluminum Gas Cell' Thermomatch spectrum correlation software; ETL Certification; Intrinsically safe; MIRAN Sapphire Accessories Kit' Field performance verification kit 2 year expanded standard warranty services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334519. This acquisition will be under the authority of Section 4202 Clinger Cohen Act of 1996, as set forth in FAR Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
