Description

This is a notice of intent by the Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronic Program Office (PMA-209) to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0024 with Rockwell Collins Government Systems (RCGS), 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is assigned responsibility for the planning, programming, budgeting, procurement, installation, operation, and support of the Air Combat Electronics programs. This effort covers the requirements to provide Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA209). This tasking includes providing a total of 294 kits for the Air Force?s A-10 aircraft to provide a Secure Line of Sight (SLOS) Communication. The kits shall be comprised of the following items to be purchased under this order: RT-Mount Assembly less the MT-4935, antenna kit, and RCU Adapter Cable. Delivery will commence in October 2007 and will be completed no later than November 2008 with shipments to be made to the Customer Owned Property Stores (COPS) at the Rockwell facilities in Richardson, TX. As Rockwell Collins is the sole developer of the ARC-210 Family of products and related ancillary equipment and maintain the proprietary rights to this radio, they are the only capable source of providing the equipment necessary to interface to the receiver-transmitters being installed on the A-10 aircraft. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.
