Description
THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO INCREASE THE PROCUREMENT QUANTITY OF THE MK30 SKID COVER SETS FROM 15 EA TO 25 EA. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport intends to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR part 12 and 13 procedures (commercial items, simplified acquisition procedures), with the solicitation being issued in less than 15 days per FAR 5.203(a) and (h). Procurement is for (15 ea) MK30 Skid Cover Sets, in accordance with Government drawings. Due to restricted distribution statements the drawings will not be posted on our website. Joint Certification Program (JCP) registered contractors may send an e-mail request for the drawings to Michael Broomfield at broomfieldmh@npt.nuwc.navy.mil citing RFQ N66604-07-Q-4741, include company name and address, JCP number, cage code and telephone number and point of contact. CD-ROMS will be sent once JCP registration is confirmed. Award shall be made on a Best Value basis, with the evaluation criteria being; past performance and technical capability. Solicitation is 100% small business Set-Aside and unclassified. Required delivery date is 120 days after contract award. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination, Ship to NUWCDIV, Newport, RI.
