SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) require guest rooms, meeting rooms, and hotel services of a qualified hotel for OCC?s LAW Department Conference to be held during one of the following weeks in Washington, DC or Northern Virginia March 11-13 April 1-3 April 29 - May 1 June 3-5 June 10-12 June 17-19 June 24-26 September 9-11 September 23-25 The LAW Department Conference will be held Monday through Thursday. The estimated maximum number of guest rooms per night is 143. The program may consist of one reception; one luncheon; a general session on four days; and up to ten concurrent sessions on one day. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Hotel & Travel Index; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation at this web site in September 2007. The solicitation document will contain the details of the Conference requirements, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quote will be evaluated. This is NOT a small business set-aside. It is a full and open competition using simplified acquisition procedures under the Commercial Item Test Program (FAR Subpart 13.5). All responsible hotels may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. NAICS Code: 721110, $6.0. OCC anticipates awarding the contract in December 2007. *****
