Description

This amendment is issued for the following: 1. Revise the estimated RFP release date to on or about 4 September 2007. 2. Inform industry that Section B CLIN/SLIN pricing will be required to be provided in U.S. currency only. Foreign pricing will not be accepted. 3. Provide interested vendors with the Site Survey Personnel Information forms for each of the Survey Areas. These forms are available via FedTeDS. Completed forms are required to be submitted to the Contracting Officer no later than two (2) calendar days from RFP release date. Vendor personnel will not be allowed on any survey without this information. DISA/DITCO-PAC intends to release the DTS-P II RFP on or about August 07, 2007, which will provide the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) transmission service requirements for the Expanded Pacific Region. The Expanded Pacific Region consists of the Pacific Command (PACOM), Northern Command (NORTHCOM), and Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) Area of Operations (AOR). The essential characteristics of these requirements are end-to-end information transfer services to the Department of Defense (DoD) and authorized non-DoD operations, seamless interoperability with the global Defense Information System Network (DISN), positive control, robust bandwidth, provisioning agility and flexibility, diversity, security, cost-effectiveness, technology insertion and enhancements.
