The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Item 0001, NSN 5998-01-086-6707QD, P/N: 484678-4, applicable to the F-16. 1/4" high x 3.3/4" long x 4.1/4" wide. Circuit Board Assembly is made up of printed wire with electronic components. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-9013. FOB: Origin. Inspection/Acceptance: Source. Delivery: Qty 18 each, (Min: 5/Max: 27) on or before 28 Nov 2008. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 21 Aug 2007. The anticipated award date will be 16 Oct 2007. Qualification Requirements apply. The following source has been qualified for this acquisition: Sole Source, Simmonds Precision Products, (Cage Code: 89305), Vergennes, VT 05491-1013. . New/unused government surplus is acceptable. Surplus items will be evaluated by P/N manufacturing verification, prior government ownership, 100% end item inspection, test and verification (5L16-10-3), and verifiable dimensions (Design Activity: 89305. Drawing Number 484678-4). Surplus remarks: Item will be government surplus material in ?new/unused? condition as described in AMCFARS 5352.211 and must meet all MIL/FED specs for its application. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
