DESC: NSN 1015-12-192-1618, Part Number 12529578, The item to procure is a PLATE RETAINER: CLIP (1015-12-192-1618) M256 120mm CANNON IS A CLOSE TOLERANCE PART MACHINED AND FORMED FROM CARBON STEEL STRIP PER MIL-S-46049 OR .28-46C AISI-SAE ALLOY STE EL PER SAE-AMS-STD-66 OR SAE 4130 PER SAE-AMS 6371. MERCHANT QUALITY AND FREE- MACHINING GRADES ARE NOT ALLOWED. THE PART IS HALF MOON SHAPED R 95.2 mm, 182 mm WIDE, 55mm HIGH WITH (9) DRILLED HOLES ON THE PERIMETER AND MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION. Req uirements are QTY: 60 each, Retainer, Plate. FOB is DESTINATION. For use on the M1 TANK. Estimated issue date is 10 Sept 2007. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be prov ided.
