- TIMBER SALE. The sales area will comprise of approximately 130 acres consisting of the following: Pine Sawtimber, 684.817 MBF; Hardwood Sawtimber, 15.022 MBF; Pine Pulpwood, 1,125 Cords; Hardwood Pulpwood, 388 Cords; and Pine Topwood, 342 Cords located at the Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC. The work includes cutting, thinning and harvesting all trees designated for cutting within the sale area The NAICS Code is 113310 with a corresponding size standard of 500 employees. This sale is to be a Lump Sum sale. Invitation to Bid Number N40085-07-B-2312 applies with an approximate issue date of 22 August, 2007. A detailed specification will be included with the request for bid. Bid opening is scheduled on Wednesday, 26 September 2007, at 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.
