Description
The NAVY EXPERIMENTAL DIVING UNIT, Panama City, FL intends to procure via Simplified Acquisition Procedures, SOLE SOURCE to Remote Ocean Systems Inc., video cameras and light systems to be installed in hyperbaric test chambers in the Experimental Diving Facility (EDF) to enable video monitoring of diving equipment during unmanned test and evaluation. All equipment must be capable of operating to depths of at least 1200 fsw, whether used in air or submerged in fresh or salt water, in temperatures ranging from 25F to 115F. All equipment must be powered by DC voltage less than or equal to 30 volts. The primary adjustable color camera/pan and tilt/adjustable lighting system must be fully controllable via a single RS-485 interface using vendor-provided software capable of running on a Windows XP operating system. High intensity camera light must use LED technology and provide light output at least equivalent to 100-watt incandescent bulb with no more than 35 watts power consumption and must be controllable via the RS-485 interface that controls the camera and the pan/tilt system. High intensity light for water tank and full chamber illumination must use LED technology and provide light output at least equivalent to 250-watt halogen bulb with no more than 35 watts power consumption. Light intensity must be adjustable via a separate, low voltage (not greater than 5 volts) control line. Miniature color camera must include integrated, dimmable LED lights and a controller that provides power for the camera and lights as well as the capability to adjust LED light intensity.
