- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases (CCID), The National Center for Preparedness, Detection, and Control of Infectious Diseases (NCPDCID), Division of Scientific Resources (DSR) is seeking to award a sole source commercial contract for the following complete system: HTA Pump with Low Pressure Gradient and Degasser; LaChrom Elite Power Supply/Organizer with Bottles; Column Oven; Manual Injection System; 500 ?L Sample Loop; Prep Flow Cell Assembly; LaChrom Elite System Controller; Pump Seal Washing Kit; EZChrom Elite ? Stand-Alone Software for the LaChrom Elite HPLC; LaChrom/LaChrom Elite DAD Control ? First DAD; Service Installation; and On-site instrument/software training. The Government has determined that this complete system provided solely by Hitachi High Technologies is the only complete system that can satisfy our requirement. This complete system will allow performance of AX-HPLC on fluorescently labeled synthetic DNA fragments while increasing the purification capacity. The Government intends to Request quotes on 10 August 2007, with award by 31 August 2007. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
