- Request for Information Only. The Government does not presently intend to award a contract, but wants to obtain price, delivery, other market information, and/or capabilities for planning purposes and will not pay for any costs associated in respons e to this Request For Information. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. We solicit responses from businesses that have successfully performed such a variety of services in an overseas environment. When responding, describe what types of contracts you have worked of similar scope and magnitude, the services you offer, suggestio ns and lessons-learned from prior contracts. The U.S. Army Garrison, Wiesbaden, Germany is considering a single contract (combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Delivery-Task Orders) for eight (8) housing managerial and maintenance functions under one scope of work. The work is presently being performed by a combination of contracted services and Government assets: 1)Community Homefinding and Referral Services (Off Post Quarters), 2)Vacant Quarters Maintenance (On-Post), 3)Grounds Maintenance for Family and Bachelor Quarters, 4)Fire Alarm Syste m Maintenance (Family Housing), 5)Assignments and Terminations (On-Post), 6)Furnishings Management Office (Government-loaner furniture), 7)Facilities Management Inspection, and 8)Unaccompanied Personnel Housing Management. The location is in US Army Garrison, Wiesbaden, Germany and the surrounding area. This community supports more than 18,000 soldiers, civilians, and family members.
