- Furnish all planning, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, parts, and all things necessary to: Base Item - refurbish Millers Fery Draft Tube Gantry Crane (15 tons); Option Items - refurbish Millers Ferry Intake Gantry Crane (40 tons), Jones Bluf f Intake Gantry Crane (35 tons), and Jones Bluff Draft Tube Gantry Crane (10 tons), Selma and Camden, Alabama. The scope of work includes (but is not limited to): furnishing new reduction gear box, new rope, new motor brakes and load brakes, master switch eds, controls, and performing load tests. It is anticipated that a fixed-price contract will be awarded based on best value procedures. Source selection criteria will be included in the solicitation; therefore, detailed proposals will be required. This i s an unrestricted procurement. The NAICS is 333923; the size standard for which is 500 employees. The solicitation will be only be issued as a direct download at the following website: https://www.fedteds.gov on or about August 6, 2007. All prospective con tractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in FedTeds before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to the solicitation.
