- Work under this project consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, material and incidentals necessary for the construction of one home, in accordance with regulations issued under the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Home Improvement Program. Due to this project being a private home, not a public dwelling, the Davis-Bacon and Miller Act do not apply. Project location is Red Rock, Oklahoma. The estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Bid packages will available as of Thursday, August 9, 2007. Parties interested in submitting a bid, may request a bid packet, in writing, by phone or fax from the Contracting Officer, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Southern Plains Regional Office, P.O. Box 368, Anadarko, OK 73005, telephone no. 405-247-1575/1591 or fax no. (405) 247-9922. Bids must be submitted and will be publicly opened at 3:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday, August 31, 2007, in the Branch of Contracts, Southern Plains Regional Office, Anadarko, OK. Section 7(b) of the Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450E) and 41 CFR 14-1.354 requires that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaskan individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaskan economic enterprises.
