SOLICITATION NO. 301817Q385 PROJECT TITLE: Shop Building Energy Retrofit PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Union Slough National Wildlife and Fish Refuge 1710 369th Street Titonka Iowa PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project consists of removing and replacement of the Shop Building's Unit heat system with a new infrared heating system including adding infrared heat to the vehicle storage portion of the building; installing distribution boxes and new sub-panel board to accommodate the infrared heat system; retrofitting the entire shops fluorescent lighting system from T-12's to T-8's; replacement of incandescent lights in vehicle storage portion of the building with new T-8 fluorescent lighting fixtures and lamps (total of 3) over work benches; replacement pf the existing outdoor lighting system including wiring, air compressor, water softener, entrance door, and bathroom exhaust fan with new energy efficient system; and removal, disposal, and replacement of a 40' x 4' concrete apron to the front of the building. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000 - $100,000. This procurement is Set-aside 100% for all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with a size standard of $13 Million Dollars. The Solicitation Package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideas.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about August 22, 2007. Quotes due on or about September 13, 2007, 5:00PM Midwest Time. A hard copy of the Solicitation package will be made available upon written request and will include the following: An itemized Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination.
