- Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst New Jersey has a requirement for the following items in support of the MH-60R Aircraft: Advance Boresight Equipment (ABE) Adapter Set, P/N 38403-40000-10. The initial spare parts include: EGI Adapter, P/N: 38403-40100-10, Qty one (1) ea.; ESM Adapter, P/N 38403-40120-10, Qty one (1) ea.; ADL Adapter, P/N 38403-40140-10, Qty one (1) ea.; MMR Pedestal Adapter, P/N 38403-40160-10, Qty one (1) ea.; MMR Antenna Adapter, P/N 38403-40180-10, Qty one (1) ea.; and MH-60R Personality Module, P/N 38403-40006-10, Qty one (1) ea. The MH-60R ABE Adapter Set is an essential item of Peculiar Support Equipment and is used in conjunction with the ABE Model 310A at the Orginizational Level of maintenance to perform borsighting to the subsystem level for the MMR, EGI, and ESM systems on the MH-60R Aircraft. The Government intends to procure this under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. AAI Corporation of Hunt Valley, MD is currently the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the above listed items. AAI Corporation owns the proprietary design right and technical data necessary to provide the required items. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
