Description
This is Amendment 0001 to this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The purpose of this is to respond to questions regarding RFQ: SA1301-7-RQ-0015 and to extend the current due of 8-9-2007 at 2 p.m. to 8-10-2007 at 2 p.m. The questions and answered are as follows: 1Q. Will you pay for the "vouchers" upon award of the contract? Or when they are used upon receipt of an invoice? 1.A. All Vouchers will be fully funded at contract award. 2.Q. The solicitation states, "Vendors shall provide a quote for all items (courses)." To our knowledge, no vendor currently has DAU equivalency for CON 214, CON 215, CON 216, CON 217 and CON 218. Can we quote on the courses we do have? Or does this eliminate us from bidding? 2.A. Answer: Provide quotes for current courses including the ?equivalent? predecessor courses CON 202, 204, and 210. This will not eliminate a Vendor from competing. 3.Q. Would Denver, CO be acceptable instead of Boulder, CO? 3.A. Yes, Denver, CO would be acceptable substitution for Boulder, CO. 4.Q. Is it a requirement that contractors have training available in all of the Commerce locations (Boulder, CO, Seattle, WA, Norfolk, VA, Kansas City, MO, Pascalouga, MS, and Jeffersonville, IN), or is it the intent of DOC to make multiple awards, covering one more locations each? 4.A. No, it is not a requirement that an offeror have training available in all locations, but the Government reserves the right to make multiple awards from this RFQ. All responses to this solicitation must be received by 2:00 PM EST on August 10, 2007. Offerors shall submit three electronic copies of their quote to Michael Knowles at MKnowles@doc.gov and three hard copies of their quote to the following address: Hand Delivery or FedEx (Preferred) U.S. Postal Service, U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of Acquisition Management, Commerce Acquisition Solutions, RM 6520, ATTN: Michael Knowles, 14th and Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20230, ph: 202-482-6437, Receipt of Quotes.
