Description

W9124R-07-T-1103 Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region, Directorate of Contracting intends to negotiate a firm fixed priced contract on a sole source basis with Mallory Engineering, Inc. 2779 Directors Row, S alt Lake City, Utah. This contract will be for the overhaul and upgrade of a Temperature Control Unit Heating Element and Controller. The Mallory system shall be compatible in form fit and function with existing USAYPG Temperature Control Unit Mallory Engi neering, Inc. is the only known company with access to this product. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capa bility to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSAL. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional release of guarded information all interested firms must c onduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed items. If you feel that youre firm possesses the ability to provide these services, then you must respond by August 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM MST. All inquiries shall be clearly marked with Solicitation Number W9124R-07-T-1103 and emailed to the POC listed below or sent by facsimile to (928) 328-6849. See note 22 for the time period exception for receipt of proposals for consideration is seven days instead of 45 days.
