Description: Pending procurement of 180 'man-days' of Field Service Representative (FSR) support for ongoing deployments of the Mabey & Johnson Logistic Support Bridge and Float Bridge to Southwest Asia. The required FSR services consist of providing technical su pport and training of Army units utilizing the Mabey & Johnson Logistic Support Bridge and Float Bridge in theater. Award is restricted sole source to Mabey Bridge & Shore, Inc., a subsidiary of Mabey & Johnson, Ltd., the manufacturer and distributor of th e fielded bridging equipment being supported. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The estimated amount of this procurement is $350,000. Note 22 applies.
