Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Army Tank and Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Center (TARDEC) in Warren, MI has a requirement for the following: C.1. The contractor will perform upgrade of 50th percentile male Hybrid III anthropomorphic test device (ATD). The upgrade will consist of one (1) phase. C1.1. Phase I  upgrade HIII ATD. C.1.1.1. The contractor will transport HIII ATD to their facility. C.1.1.2. The contractor will remove all parts to be upgraded from the HIII ATD. C.1.1.3. The contractor will apply selected upgrades to HIII ATD. C.1.1.4. The contractor will return HIII ATD with any unused parts to RDECOM-TARDEC and provide information on care and useage. Award shall be made on a sole source basis to Kayser-Threde NA, Inc. Deliveries should be complete within 30 to 90 days. Cost to include shipping (FOB Destination).
