Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Provide electronic security system at Greers Ferry Powerho use. The objective of this project is for the Contractor to provide all design, services, materials, supplies, labor, equipment, investigations, studies, and travel necessary to complete the following requirements in accordance with the objectives under t he provisions of the following sections. The Electronic Security System (ESS) shall be a modular and network-able access control and CCTV monitoring system. The system shall be capable of handling large proprietary corporations with multiple remote sites, alarm monitoring, video assessment, video surveillance, video imaging system, and a CCTV switching that allows for easy expansion or modification of inputs and remote control stations. In addition, the Contractor shall provide a security console in the c ontrol room for installing CCTV and access control system and existing equipment. Provide hatch cover and its attachment for the cable tunnel and the dam gallery access. Summary of Work Items. Electronic Security System shall require design, integrat ing between CCTV and access control system, installation, training, and testing. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this project is 334290, which corresponds to SIC 5895. The Small Business Size Standard is 750. The solicitation will be a negotiated acquisition. There will be no public bid opening. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a hard paper copy. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only. Notification of amendments shall be made via Internet only, as well. It is therefore the contractor responsibi lity to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. For security reasons, all technical and engineering data related to this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) system. FedTeDS is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Interested bidders must register with FedTeDS before accessing the system.
