- Description
- Project consists of dewatering Pass Creek at the existing low water crossing then the demolition and removal of the existing low water crossing from National Forest Lands and the construction of a new concrete low water crossing at the same location. Machine placement of large class 8 riprap on the downstream side of the low water crossing and placement of aggregate on the existing road approaches to the low water crossing. The project location from Truckee CA is to proceed North on Hwy. 89 towards Sierraville for approximately 14.70 miles to the intersection with Forest Road 07 to Jackson Meadows Reservoir, turn left onto Forest Road 07 and proceed ahead for approximately 11.70 miles to the West intersection with Forest Road 70, turn left onto Forest Road 70 and proceed ahead for approximately 0.20 miles to the project location. The estimated solicitation issue date is 8/24/07. Contract time is 46 days, estimated start work date 10/1/07.
