Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation serves as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document, incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-11. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. The Acquisition Management and Integration Center, Langley AFB, VA requires one (1) mobile structural live fire trainer for Avon Park AFR FL, one (1) mobile structural live fire trainer for Tyndall AFB FL, and one (1) mobile aircraft live fire trainer for Soto Cano AB, Honduras. The anticipated delivery date is 1 March 2008. The delivery date will be on or around 1 April 2008. The contractor shall provide the requirement as identified in the Statement of Work as posted. ALL ADDITIONAL FEATURES BEYOND THE BASE MODEL FEATURES MUST BE ITEMIZED IN THE QUOTATION. THIS INCLUDES FIRES, PROPS AND MOCKUPS, OUTDOOR LIGHTING AND ELECTRICAL OUTLETS, COMPONENTS OF THE SECOND STORY COMPARTMENT AND ACCESS STAIRCASE, ETC. This is a competitive best-value acquisition in which technical specifications (pass/fail) and price will be evaluated. The requirement will be awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. All documents associated with this projected requirement will be posted on the FedBizOps website, www.fbo.gov.
