- THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for critical Matlab software applications/licenses (SUBML, MATLAB maint., (qty.: 5 mos); SRML: MATLAB reinstatement (Qty.: 1 ea); SRSG: Signal Processing Toolbox reinstatement (Qty.: 1 ea); SRST: Statistics Toolbox reinstatement (Qty.: 1 ea); SUBML: MATLAB maint. (Qty.: 36 mos); SUBSG: Signal Processing Toolbox maint. (Qty.: 36 mos); SUBST: Statistics Toolbox maint. (Qty.: 36 mos); MGALL: Mapping Toolbox purchase, 1 yr. maint. (Qty.: 1 ea); QZALL: Filter Design Toolbox purchase, 1 yr. maint. (Qty.: 1 ea); SGALL: Signal Processing Toolbox, 1 yr. maint. (Qty.: 9 ea); SUBML: MATLAB maint. on 9 instances (Qty.: 5 mos) and SUBDB: Database Toolbox maint. on 2 instances (Qty.: 5 mos). Prices are to include all shipping and handling charges. This is a Sole Source with The MathWorks, Inc. IAW FAR 6.302-1. The MathWorks, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the governments requirement as they are the only producer of the Matlab toolboxes. Renewal of software maintenance on existing Matlab products is needed to assure supportability of the application programs within AFTACs Sun Enterprise. These licenses and maintenance will allow researchers to develop novel filter algorithms, develop and display maps and relieve a usage bottleneck of limited licenses to critical toolbox within the Matlab applications environment. AFTAC requires more Matlab toolbox licenses to accommodate the growing number of users and also requires more modern tools for interacting with the operational database. All these tools will increase the efficiency thereby saving the government time and money. Software maintenance is required to assure that researchers have the latest technology available. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 7379 with a business size of $23.0M and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 541519. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that The MathWorks, Inc. is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
