- The Army Contracting Agency The Americas, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba intends to issue a solicitation for the acquisition of Support Services for Joint Task Force Guantanamo (JTF-GTMO) at US Naval Station (USNS) Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in support of Operat ion Enduring Freedom. This will be a requirements contract for a 12-month base period and two12-month options for the management and maintenance of surveillance and automated security systems. Contractors will provide support in the following task areas: A utomated Intrusion Detection Systems, Camera Surveillance Systems, and Automated entry/access control systems. To accomplish the JTF-GTMO mission efficiently the JTF requires a multitude of automated security systems that provide security and surveillance of detention, medical and support personnel. These security systems also ensure the transparent and humane detention of the detainees. Performance of this contract will be at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; contracted personnel shall have current/valid security cle arances no lower than SECRET. This solicitation will be issued on or about 17 August 2007 and available to be downloaded from the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/.
